Problem
Many college students find their suite situation deteriorate within the first week of the semester.
Trash piles up, the floors need sweeping, toilet paper is missing, the fridge needs restocking, someone’s boyfriend came over again without anyone being informed, and someone keeps yelling that they’re trying to sleep or study while someone else blasts music.
Research & Design Process
Conducted contextual inquires & affinity diagrammed to understand nuances of design problem & develop a clear design solution
Storyboarded to demonstrate design solutions
Prototyped low-fidelity mockups in Balsamiq
Smoke-and-mirrors prototyped to work with time-incurred implementation constraints early on in the process
Prototyped fidelity 1:1 wireframes in Figma
Implemented code in HTML, CSS, JS & Jquery
Ran app using React & Flask
